A Message From the Chairman:

In keeping with the goals of University of Missouri Health Care, our university hospital affiliation, we emphasize patient care and seek to train the radiology residents to think for themselves and to act as an integral part of the medical team in patient management. The University of Missouri is a leader in providing rural health care training, and our department supports this endeavor through our tele-radiology services, which are currently use by over a dozen rural sites.
Our residency program emphasizes residents learning how to teach, and provides many opportunities to teach and to present, including colloquia, journal club, case conferences, intra- and interdepartmental clinical conferences and presentations to medical students rotating through radiology.
